7th Sir Galahad

Welcome to Team Galahad

We are excited to have you as part of our team.  Sir Galahad was a Knight of the Round Table and is known as being “the perfect knight” due to his purity and gallantry.  As a team we want to focus on the concept of family within Sir Galahad. We recognize and value each and every student’s individuality.  We are looking forward to watching each student grow both academically and emotionally.

Your core teachers are:

Science--Philip Shew

This is my 8th year teaching science here at CRMS, and my 20th year overall.  Prior to being in the classroom, I was a snowboard instructor at Beaver Creek and Steamboat.  I am married to a Spanish teacher and have two boys in 5th and 8th grade.  I am one of the cross country coaches in the Fall and track coaches in the Spring.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of our new students this year and connecting with older students as well.

Social Studies-- Shari Lewis

This is my 21st year of teaching at CRMS and 26th over all. I have been blessed to be in this teaching occupation and look forward to this year as well. My number one goal each year is to build relationships. I have a Lab named Lily. She is a crazy 4 ½ year old who still acts like a pup.

Language Arts-- James Pallotto

This will be my first year as a Blue Knight at CRMS. As a football coach I have a love for teaching and working with kids, and I am excited to build and create a fun and engaging social studies culture on Sir Galahad. I have three younger siblings, and love to walk my border collie Boomer when I’m not teaching or coaching.

Math--Heidi Clarke

This is my 19th year in education! I love working with students to build their math confidence and help them discover their love for math! I have three kids (17, 14, 11) that keep me very busy! I love sports and enjoy running on my free time.

Health / PE-- Ms. Rienne Ray

This is my 2nd year in education and my 2nd year at CRMS. I coach Track and Field here at CRMS, as well as 9th grade Boys Basketball at ThunderRidge High. I am a DCSD Alumni, and I am excited about being able to come back and be a teacher now. I love teaching and coaching kids, and helping them grow. I look forward to this school year and building relationships with students.

Communication

We all use Google Classroom to varying degrees, and update it regularly.  We recommend that students use the Classwork tab, and they can check what work is due with the View Your Work tab. We also send out a weekly bulletin through Infinite Campus. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have. We look forward to partnering with you and working toward your student's success!
