Meet Your Team
Castle Rock Middle School is centered around the Knights of the Round Table, known for their chivalry, bravery, and intelligence. All of our students are part of an academic team named after these legends of yore.
Sir Galahad was a Knight of the Round Table, known as being “the perfect knight” due to his purity and gallantry. As a team, we focus on the concept of family and value every student’s individuality.
Sir Kay was the son of Sir Ector and one of the first Knights of the Round Table. He was a fierce warrior, extremely brave, and one of King Arthur's closet allies. Sir Kay was known to inspire and we work to inspire our students.
King Arthur's unwavering commitment to justice and his sense of honor make him a role model for students aspiring to embody integrity and fairness in their actions and decisions. Additionally, his dedication to his knights and the pursuit of a noble cause showcases exemplary leadership qualities for students to emulate in their own endeavors.
Sir Ector was the biological father of Sir Kay and the adoptive father of King Arthur. King Arthur was taught his most admirable traits of being just, intelligent, and accepting by his adoptive father Sir Ector. Ector modeled these behaviors and taught them to his sons. Therefore, we consider ourselves in the same position. Like Ector, we view our students as family. Like Arthur, we want to ensure our students leave our classrooms ready to lead, change, and shape the world.
