6th to 7th Grade Orientation

Information for our incoming 7th grade class and for the first time ever - our incoming 6th grade class for the 2027-2028 school year will be posted as soon as it is available!

Below is information from the 2025-2026 school year for our 2026-2027 incoming students:

 

Thank you for joining us on your middle school journey.  We are excited to welcome you to our school and get you set up for success at Castle Rock Middle School.  Below you will find information regarding our school, our programing, registration, our forms and what you can expect at middle school.  

We have school visits planned for each of our feeder elementary schools so 6th graders can learn about middle school from students, counselors and administration.  The visits are set up with each individual school.  Talk with your student about when their visit is and what they learned. These visits will happen prior to the orientation nights. Students will be given course selection information (sheets that will be signed by parents and student and turned into current teacher as well as instruction for how to input their selections into Infinite Campus.)

Students that have filled out an Intent to Return or who have been accepted through Open Enrollment prior to Orientation Nights will be sent registration information to the parent's email and are welcome to attend an Orientation Night.

If your student is Open Enrolled to Clear Sky, Larkspur, Meadow View, Sedalia or Soaring Hawk and you would like them to attend Castle Rock Middle School, you will need to complete an Open Enrollment application and receive an offer in order to be enrolled and remain in the Castle View feeder if your address is outside of our boundary.
 

We have 6th to 7th grade orientation scheduled.  These nights are communicated with each school so parents are able to join us to learn more about middle school for their student.  Our family night is as follows:

January 15th, 2026 

• Tentative Session 1: 4:00pm-6:00pm: more information to come

  • GT Session: TBD

 

• Tentative Session 2: 6:00pm-8:00pm: more information to come

If you can not make your assigned session, you may join us during the other time period.  Students coming to CRMS for next year, not currently in our feeder may come to either session.
