8th King Arthur

I am happy to be starting my first year at CRMS!  This is my 20th year of teaching and I look forward to helping our students learn how to persevere when solving problems and to find joy in math.  My post-secondary education includes a BS in Computer Information Systems, a minor in mathematics and I've recently completed a master's degree in STEM Education and Teacher Leadership via a joint partnership with NASA Education, Columbia University and Adams State University.  I love to bring in real world situations as we learn about how to use math outside of school, especially anything to do with planets, space or rockets!

This is my 16th year teaching at Castle Rock Middle School and my 23rd year overall.  I grew up in Castle Rock and attended the school back when it was Castle Rock Junior High.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Colorado College.  I am excited to meet the King Arthur students this year and share my passion for science with them!

This is the beginning of my 24th year teaching and my 9th here at CRMS. I am excited to be a part of King Arthur and Social Studies. I love American History and how we can learn from the past to prepare for the future!

I was born in Ohio and moved to Colorado in 1995. I have lived in 4 different states and traveled to 46 states! I have my BS from BGSU and my masters from UNCO.
